Seating Tips
by Sally Manglicmot

Avoid the Assigned-Seating Bottleneck!
Many formal wedding receptions include assigned guest seating. Assigning guests to a table is a challenging step in the planning process. After all that planning, you don’t want your guests waiting in long lines at the door to get into your reception—an unwanted situation.

Here are some easy tips to avoid the bottleneck.
- Outside the entrance place a tripod showing the floor plan with table numbers to easily identify their seat.
- Bridesmaids can ask each guest for their name and hand them a card with their table number.
- Ushers can escort guests to their tables. Keep your guests moving and enjoying your wedding.
