Spotlight on artist Victoria Chick

  Lisa D. Smith and Nancy J. Reid, editors of Big Blend Magazine, interviewed artist Victoria Chick, now residing in Silver City, New Mexico.
  Victoria is a Minnesota country girl that has let her love of nature and animals combine with her passion for painting. She studies animal movement, and paints their attitude without painting their facial expression. Working in series, she paints a subject from many different aspects. Her paintings tend to be cool colors with hot color accents that add movement and vitality.
  In her interview below, she has some good tips for artists and talks about the business side of being an artist.
