Lavender Scones -
Rosemary's Recipes & Remedies
by Rosemary Nightingale, Squaw Valley Herb Gardens.
Lavender Scones
Here's a delicious recipe -
Lavender
Scones.
I make them a lot. They're delicious and best fresh out
of the oven. When possible I recommend buying organic
ingredients!
2 cups
Flour
1 T. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
4 T. Sugar
3 T. Dried Lavender flowers cleaned
6 T. Butter
2 Eggs beaten
1/3 cup cream or 1/2 and 1/2
Bring
Lavender and cream to a boil, remove and cool.
Cut butter into dry mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Mix everything together.
Place T. size amounts on oiled and floured baking pans.
Bake at
425 degrees for 10-12 minutes
