This is a "gem" of a book for anyone that loves good photography and the
fun of discovering the personality of a town or city. It fully
captures the heart and soul of a very eclectic city, La Jolla,
California--both through the photos by 50 year resident Eric Masterman
and the lively text by Michael Dormer.
There is a spirit that permeates throughout a town, city or region, and
Eric Masterman has certainly caught it through his lenses. His
intimate knowledge of his subject shines through page after page. The
