  Glendale’s 218,000 residents enjoy a high desert climate with average high and low temperatures of 84/52 degrees. With it’s 300 plus days of sunshine per year, Glendale’s climate has a lot to offer, such as sightseeing, golf, the desert wildflowers, skiing at the nearby mountain peaks, or just lazing beside the pool.
  Glendale is also home to the largest fighter pilot training center, Luke Air Force Base, in Arizona, housing more than 300 aircraft and 8,000 personnel--giving the economy a boost.
Dubbed by USA Today and Sunset Magazine as one of the top ten antique shopping centers in the state, Glendale’s antique district is centrally located in the historic downtown area, along with numerous other shops and boutiques, and dining establishments with tastes for all.
  Glendale is also the home to an NHL hockey team and an NFL football team slated to host the 2008 Super Bowl.
