Evren OzanEvren Ozan – Dubbed as ‘an old soul returned to the people’, Evren Ozan is an extremely talented fourteen year old, award-winning Native American Flute Musician whose compositions are heard on CDs, radio, independent films, and in concerts. His newest CD ‘Alluvia’ was recently named ‘best Instrumental Recording’ at the 9th Annual Native American Music Awards, 2007; and the 50th Annual Grammy Awards entry list includes Evren as "Best New Artist" and ‘Alluvia’ as "Best New Age" album. Tinas' Cocina, cooking lessons at St. Pauls Cultural Center, Yuma, ArizonaTina Clark – Tina is the Historian/Archaeologist for the Yuma Crossing Heritage Area. She will be on our show to discuss Yuma as the oldest city on the Colorado River, the Yuma Heritage Area, the History of the Colorado River & the Restoration process. Tina also own St Pauls Cultural Center which is home to her cooking school ‘Tina’s Cocina’; and St. Paul’s Church which was built in 1909, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Marilee Strech, Crossroads Tresures, Santa Ysabel, CAMarilee Strech – Marilee has been a rock hound for years, traveling the southwest in search of unique rock and gemstone finds. She features all her special finds and rock, gem and mineral specimens and jewelry, in her shop called Crossroads Treasures, which is located in Santa Ysabel which is just outside of Julian, in San Diego’s back country. Marilee will be on our show to give her ‘Rock Hound Report’ on Tourmaline, and the nearby Himalaya Tourmaline Mine which was featured on the Cash and Treasures show on the Travel Channel.
